This is not intended to be all that this fellowship believes, nor is it intended to be inspired or contended for. We believe that it encompasses those things that are essential to the operation of a full gospel ministry. No claims are made that it contains all truth in the Bible, only that it covers our present needs as to these fundamental matters.
[1] GOD: We believe in one God who is Himself, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1, 14; Colossians 2:9; Matthew 1:23) (top)
[2] BIBLE: We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; Hebrews 4:12)
[3] SALVATION: We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in our Lord’s sacrifice at Calvary. We believe that the grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men through the preaching of repentance of sin. We believe that, after being justified by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we become heirs of the promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:47; Romans 3:21-24; Romans 10:13-15; Titus 2:11; Titus 3:5-7; Acts 4: 12)
We believe the inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit. (Romans 8:16) The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness. (Romans 6:19-22)
[4] BAPTISM: We believe in the ordinance of baptism by immersion. We believe being buried with Christ and raised as He was, through baptism, should be observed by all who have truly repented and in their hearts have believed on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We believe also that this should be accomplished in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, but do not reject those of us who have been baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Romans 6:4; Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:38; Acts 8:16; Acts 10:48; Acts 9:5; Matthew 28:19)
[5] COMMUNION: We believe that the Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements bread and the fruit of the vine, is the external expression of an inward grace; that it is a memorial of His suffering and death and a prophesy of his second coming, and is intended to be done often in remembrance of Him “till He comes.” (Luke 22:19-20; John 6:4858; I Corinthians 11:23-29)
[6] HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM: We believe that it is evidenced by speaking in tongues and by manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. We believe it is to be encouraged in all that attend this fellowship. (Acts 8:16, 17; I Corinthians 12:27-31; I Corinthians 14:1-25)
[7] HEALING: We believe in Divine Healing. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the Word of God and is the privilege of the believers. (Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18; James 5:14)
[8] END TIMES: We believe that the revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from Heaven, the salvation of Israel, and the everlasting reign of Christ when He establishes a new Heaven and a new Earth is the scriptural promise and the hope of the Church. (II Thessalonians 1:7; Romans 11:25-27; Revelations 19:11-16; Revelations 21:1)
[9] SECOND COMING: We believe in the blessed hope and glorious appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that the saints, both dead and alive, will be caught up to meet Him. (Matthew 16:27, John 14:3, Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:16-18, 5:23, Titus 2:13-14, Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 1:7, 22:20)
[10] HELL: We believe that the devil and his angels and whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, which is the second death. (II Thessalonians 1:9; Revelations 20:10-15)
